Apple iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have more RAM than last year’s models
Apple announced the iPhone 15 series yesterday, and while the base models, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, didn’t get a RAM upgrade, the Pro and Pro Max models did. Both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max now have 8GB of RAM, up from 6GB in last year’s models. On the other hand, both iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus has the same 6GB RAM like last year.
This is a significant increase, and it should help the Pro and Pro Max models to handle more demanding tasks, such as gaming and multitasking. It’s also worth noting that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max were the first iPhones to ship with 6GB of RAM, so this is just Apple continuing to improve the performance of its high-end iPhones.
Of course, more RAM doesn’t guarantee better performance. It also depends on the software that’s being used and the overall design of the device. But in general, more RAM can help devices to run more smoothly and multitask more effectively.
So, what does this mean for users? If you’re planning on buying an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max, you can expect to see a noticeable improvement in performance compared to last year’s models. The devices will be able to handle more demanding tasks with ease, and you’ll be able to multitask more effectively without experiencing any slowdown.
Of course, if you’re happy with the performance of your current iPhone, there’s no need to upgrade just for the sake of the extra RAM. But if you’re looking for the best possible performance from your iPhone, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are the way to go.
