Tecno Phantom V Flip: A budget-friendly clamshell foldable with a unique design

Tecno has unveiled its first clamshell foldable smartphone, the Phantom V Flip. It features a unique circular external OLED screen with two cameras and an LED flash in the ring around it. The main display is a 6.9-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness.
The Phantom V Flip is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, expandable up to 8GB more via software. It has a 4,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging.
The rear camera system consists of a 64MP main sensor and a 13MP ultrawide sensor. The front-facing camera has a 32MP sensor.
The Phantom V Flip runs on Android 13 with Tecno’s HiOS 13.5 skin on top. It features a custom personal assistant called EllaGPT.
The Phantom V Flip will be available in Black and Purple colors. The price in India is INR49,999 (around $605/€555). The price in Europe is expected to be €700, and the price in other regions is expected to be around $650 with early-bird promos.
