Google Pixel 8a live images leak, reveal rounded design and thicker bezels
The Google Pixel 8a, which is expected to launch in 2024, has leaked in live images, shortly after appearing on Geekbench. The images show a device with a rounded design and thicker bezels than the Pixel 7a.
The back of the Pixel 8a is similar to the Pixel 6a and 7a, with a protruding camera module that houses a dual-camera system. The front of the device reveals the most significant change, with a rounded display and thicker bezels.
The leak also suggests that the Pixel 8a will be powered by Google’s upcoming Tensor G3 chip, which is also expected to power the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro.
It is still early days for the Pixel 8a, so it is possible that Google will make changes to the design and specifications before launch. However, the leaked images provide a good first look at what to expect from Google’s next budget-friendly Pixel phone.
Just a recap
- Device has rounded design and thicker bezels than Pixel 7a
- Expected to be powered by Google Tensor G3 chip
- Launch date expected in 2024
