Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Duo Specs Leaked: LCD Panels, Exynos 1380 Chipset, and Higher Prices

More specs of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ have leaked online, and the news is not all good. According to WinFuture, the tablets will have LCD panels instead of OLED panels, and only the Plus variant will support S Pen input.

This is a significant downgrade from the premium Tab S9 trio, which features OLED displays and S Pen support on all models.

The Tab S9 FE will have a 10.9-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2304 x 1440 pixels, while the Tab S9 FE+ will have a 12.4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.

Both tablets will be powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, which is a significant downgrade from the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset on the Tab S9 trio.

The Tab S9 FE will come with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, while the Tab S9 FE+ will come with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. All variants will have a microSD card slot for up to 1TB more storage.

Both tablets are expected to be IP68-certified and have 12MP selfie cameras. The Tab S9 FE will have a single 8MP rear camera, while the Tab S9 FE+ will have a dual-camera system with an 8MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera.

Despite the downgrades in terms of display, chipset, and S Pen support, the Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ are expected to be more expensive than their predecessors, the Tab S7 FE series.

The Tab S9 FE is expected to start at €529, while the Tab S9 FE+ is expected to start at €699. These prices are for the Wi-Fi-only models, with 5G models likely to be €100 more.

The Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ are expected to launch next month, but Samsung has not yet announced an official release date.
