Realme has teased a new smartphone with a periscope camera, marking the company’s return to this technology after a two-year hiatus. The teaser image shows a circular camera island with two circles and one rectangle, with the rectangle likely representing the periscope telephoto camera.
Realme has not revealed any other details about the phone, but it is rumored to be the GT5 Pro, which is expected to be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and feature a 64MP telephoto camera.
Periscope telephoto cameras allow smartphones to achieve higher optical zoom levels without sacrificing image quality.
